What Are The Long Term Side Effects Of Advil?
Question: Dear Doctor,my name is XXXX and I am 63 years old,my problem is advil 400mg twice a day for my back pain,I am taking this medications from 3 years and now i learn from the internet how risky they are in special that I take other meds for high blood pressure,the meds i olso take are;Noliterax 10mg,Nebilet,Crestor10mg,Aspirin cardio 81mg,xiofor(metformin)1000mg/day.What can I take in stand of Advil,or if this dosage that I take is safe.Thank you much.

With all the problems with narcotics we forget that those with risks of kidney and vessel disease can have problems with Advil.
All medications can have problems. Advil and Naproxen can be monitored and stopped if there is any increase in BP or protein in the urine

what could be made as reasons to not take an aspirin like drug. Aspirin like drugs CAN interact with the kidney badly. They have a SMALL increased risk of stroke and heart attack. But very very few people get those problems from them.
If you rule out all risk or all reported side effects that rules out everything and rules out that too. If you say what might have increased risk in diabetics, that leaves almost no treatment available for pain if we rule out aspirin like drugs, and narcotics. There is tylenol. There is tramadol.
That is a low pulse rate.
