Question: I hope you can I have been told I have sticky blood and waiting to see a haemotologist, what is sticky and does it cause other health conditions
I have to go for more blood tests these are some of the tests
Haematology FBC, ESR clotting screening
Clinical biochemistry bone profile, LFT, TFT, CRP and eGFR/NA/K/Cr
Bio other testsJAK 2 LDU prof ep
Also p PLT 7 level
I have been feeling unwell for a long time, I have breathing problems, and asthma, also I'm having very hot sweats and have no energy, my skin is bad my nail are weak my hair is thinner, and have memory loss and migraines, numbness on the right side of my body also my eyesight is detoriating rapidly, with blurred vision and I have very puffy eyes and I have had a couple of fits and blackouts just thought this might help also hearing problems

I have had some blood test and have got to go next week for more they
Haematology. FBC, ESR, Clotting screen
Other test Film
Clinical Biochemistry e/GFR/NA/K/Cr, LFT, TFT, CRP, bone profile
bio other tests JAK-2, LDU, Prot EP
Also the Dr told me I have had sticky blood for 4 years and the results have been overlooked
What I want to know is what are these test for and what are they looking for, or what it could be

I will explain you in detail regarding each test.

FBC is full blood count. It is routine blood test.
ESR is erythrocytes sedimentation rate, useful in many disease like tuberculosis, infection, anemia and autoimmune disease.
Clotting screening is coagulation profile and it give primary idea regarding which kind of clotting disease is there.
eGFR and creatinine is for kidney function test.
LFT means liver function test.
TFT means thyroid function test.
CRP is C reactive protein for inflammation.
Bone profile for any kind of bone disease.
JAK 2 mutation for detect any myeloproliferative disease.

Overall they are searching for clotting disorder and its effect on other system as well as few routine tests mandatory in all cases.
