What Are The Possible Repercussion Of Clonazepam Ingestion By A Child?

My 3 yrs old son just ingested the remaining of 2 drops of clonazepam 2.5 mg mixed with water, 1/4 cup of water. He just gave it a sip, but drink it. He is looking fine. I tried to make him throw up, but He couldnt. What should I do?
Don't get panicked and observe the child carefully

Hello
Thanks for choosing this platform
I won't get worried if baby is otherwise active, playing and there are no abnormal symptoms suggestive of overdose like drowsiness, nervousness, irritability, hypersensitivity reaction or breathing difficulty.
The therapeutic dose of Clonazepam in children is about 0.01-0.1 mg/kg/day. The dose for producing side effect is much higher. As the ingested dose is too less (just 2 drops of 1/4th cup mixed with 2.5 mg tablet),I don't think there is much to be worried about.
But still observe him carefully and if you notice any of the abnormality mentioned above consult your pediatrician immediately.
I hope this makes you feel easy.
Regards
