What Are The Repercussions Of Accidental Double Dosage Of Amoxicillin?
Question: Hi i double dosed my 18 month old with amoxycillin accidentally was ment to give him 5ml instead guve him 8ml is he going to be ok with are the things i should look out for incase i should take him to t h e hospital

8 ml should be within the safe limits.
It shouldn't cause any trouble.
What I would suggest usually to such kids is to skip next dose and continue with normal dose after that.
At the most mild loose stools and rash can occur Which would settle spontaneously.
