Brief Answer:
Watch for sleepiness, drowsiness, poor feeding, seek attention if so

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Definitely your wife has given a huge dose 4 doses in total.
There is no antidote available, but you don;t have to worry that much, the active drugs in XXXXXXX are not very very powerful and your baby should be able to break them down without too much trouble.

You need to ensure few things
1. No more XXXXXXX drops for one week.
2 Infact avoid all cough and cold syrups together for a week.
3. Ensure frequent feeding.
4. If baby is alert and feeding well with good urine output then you need not worry.

If your baby develops drowsiness, excessive sleepiness you need to take your baby to nearby health center to get him checked.

Wishing your child good health.

Thank you doctor.... Very much relieved.... Tomorrow I will consult my pediatrician. If the cold and cough symptoms continue, what to do next sir. He is feeding well, urine output also good, motion is frequent and long cough exists. What are the symptoms which we have to be carefully watched? If any other medicine given by my doctor, which will not be advised to take now? Whether he has to be immediately taken to a hospital or we can wait for a day or two.... Pl comment sir...
