Question: If at all we miss five day dose not continuously but in between one month or three months will it effect in six months anti TB treatment

First, let me emphasize that the anti-TB treatment has to be taken very carefully every day.

This is because otherwise, TB bacillus has the risk of being resistant to the treatment (MDR-TB).

This phenomenon is not very common but happens and recently in literature is getting more importance.

If this happens only once, then no, it does not affect in the disease, but if it is happening several times, yes, it has a negative impact on the further outcome of TB

In your case restart the treatment immediately and discuss with your doctor about this.

Usually, in young patients like yours, TB is completely cured after the proper treatment.

sir the missing of dose is not continuous it was accidentally missed once for a month,like in traveling but took the medicines immediately in second day.....iam having tubular lymphadenitis .....in cervical or neck portion not having any infection in lungs

I want to say that for a total six month course if at all missed five day dose

My physician prescribed six months regimen so if at all missed the dose total for five days like once in a month for six month course

As you explain the history i don't think that the missing doses will have negative effects in your case.

madam my lymph node regressed totally in second month only it is even difficult to even find it out where it was I am near completion of my course also
