What Are The Repercussions Of Missing Dosages Of TB Medication?

Please restart the treatment immediately
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HealthcareMagic,
I can understand your concern
According to the history, you are getting treated for TB and you have forgotten several times to take the medications.
First, let me emphasize that the anti-TB treatment has to be taken very carefully every day.
This is because otherwise, TB bacillus has the risk of being resistant to the treatment (MDR-TB).
This phenomenon is not very common but happens and recently in literature is getting more importance.
If this happens only once, then no, it does not affect in the disease, but if it is happening several times, yes, it has a negative impact on the further outcome of TB
In your case restart the treatment immediately and discuss with your doctor about this.
Usually, in young patients like yours, TB is completely cured after the proper treatment.
Do maintain a healthy lifestyle, no smoking, no alcohol, and a healthy diet.
Do not worry but please be cautious with the treatment and I am sure that you will be fine.
Take care and feel free to ask me again

Hi again
Pulmonary or extrapulmonary TB does not matter the effect of treatment is the same .
As you explain the history i don't think that the missing doses will have negative effects in your case.
But be careful
