What Are The Repercussions Of Taking TB Medication In The Wrong Order?

Question: sir last two and half months I am going anti tubular lymphadenitis treatment. during the end of my treatment on day 59 after taking medicine I got confused on that day by seeing the medicine strip that I may not have taken proper dose on that particular day.... now based on that confusion I started getting confusion that I may not be taken the medicine for that last week also but. after doing calculations with the number of purchased medicine and consumption it comes every thing alright but still I am getting confused as I remembered everyday my toilet used to come yellowish orange till evening.my query is if at all interruption of the medicine for nearly two weeks will make any adverse effect I always continued the medicine regularly
Brief Answer:
No most likely no adverse effects will be there but be regular now.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
The guide lines for TB treatment are that it should be taken regularly on empty stomach first thing in the morning and nothing else to be eaten for half an hour after that. Preferably not a single dose should be missed out. This is to prevent development of drug resistant tb. Now nothing can be done even if you have missed few doses though it seems unlikely from your description. My advice to you is that now onwards be regular with your medicines and try not to miss a single dose.
Wish you the best.

Brief Answer:
Generally there is weight gain after starting TB treatment.
Detailed Answer:
With the start of TB treatment , generally there is weight gain. You may have lost weight due to some other reason like inadequate dietary intake. But since now you are maintaining the weight and you are feeling better, It shows that your treatment is effective. Take your medicines and eat a healthy diet.
The excess heat at night is not because of the tb medicines. Do not get stressed by worrying too much about the treatment. Just follow your treatment on a regular basis and every thing will be fine.

Brief Answer:
X-ray findings are generally seen in ILD .
Detailed Answer:
The FNAC is suggestive of tuberculosis but the x-ray findings are usually not seen in tb.Such findings are generally seen in ILD as I have mentioned earlier. Hence it is better to get a HRCT chest done.
