![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Hi there I am in desperate need of advice. last week I had sex with a man than has been a friend of mine for years. I do know that he has had several sexual partners (all women). We did not use a condom but he pulled out. I am concerned about std's and HIV. I asked if he had ever tested positive for anything and he said no. Should I worry? Becuase my anxiety is eating me alive over this.
Brief Answer:
chances are less, get tested to relive anxiety
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
If the person is not having any STDs /symptoms and has been tested negative for STDs and hiv you can relax .
You have not developed any symptoms so far implies chances of many STDs is almost nil.
But as he has multiple partners there are some chances of std.
the chances for hiv is also very less.moreover there is withdrawal before ejaculation.
You can consult your doctor for investigation of STDs and HIV just to relive your anxiety.
You can get back for any clarification
Thank you
