What Are The Side Effects Of Androanagen And Amexidil?

Question: I have been prescribed Androanagen tablets & 5%Amexidil for my hair.There is not much of hair fall , but it has become very thin.Are there any side effects in the above prescription.The dermatologist has written as Androgenic Alopenia grade 3.

Androgenetic alopecia is male pattern baldness.
It occurs due to hormonal imbalance in genetically predisposed individuals.

It is characterized by thinning and loss of hair in the frontal hair line and crown region of the scalp.

Amexidil 5 percent lotion is a very effective medicine for this type of hair loss.
Amexidil lotion and androanagen tablet are safe medicines and don't have much side effects apart from dryness, irritation and redness in few individuals from Amexidil lotion.

These medicines need to be continued for at least 4-5 months to show significant response.

I read in some article, that Androanagen tablets lead to ED.Is it true?
I have been taking this tablet for last 4 days.I did feel a bit low in my usual cheerful mood.Is it because of the tablet?
I have some acidity problem also.Will this aggravate my stomach burning.

I have been using the lotion for last 4 days.No reaction like irritation has happened.Is there still a chance for this to occur.

Androanagen tablet don't cause erectile dysfunction

Detailed Answer:
Androanagen tablets don't lead to erectile dysfunction.
Sexual dysfunction is not their side effect.
Loss of cheerful mood can be a psychological effect once you have a doubt in mind that it can lead to erectile dysfunction.
As far as acidity is concerned it can be caused by any medicine.
It is not a known side effect of androanagen tablet.
You can take a proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole one tablet daily empty stomach. This will take care of your acidity problem.
As I mentioned earlier irritation and redness can occur in few individuals. If it hasn't occur in 4 days it is less likely to occur in future.
You can continue with the lotion.
