Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Cilentra plus contains escitalopram and clonazepam.
There are negligible serious side effects of escitalopram. Its a safe antidepressant and antianxiety medicine.
It can initially cause diarrhea, nausea and gastritis. But these resolve in few days.
Clonazepam is an antianxiety medicine.
It is usually prescribed for short term (not longer than 4 weeks usually) as it carries the risk of dependence.
Supradyn is a multivitamin. No harm in taking this.
The main precaution is not to drive or do heavy machinery work after taking this drug as clonazepam can cause sedation. So its better to take this drug in night while sleeping.
I would suggest you to not take the combination drug.
Take escitalopram and clonazepam separately so that you can stop clonazepam after some time. Kindly discuss this with your doctor.
The drug can be stopped 6 months after complete remission of depression if this is the first episode of depression (under doctor's supervision).
Hope this helps.
Feel free to discuss further.
Kindly close the discussion if you have no more queries and give your valuable feedback.
Take care.
Thanks.
depression and anxiety can occur again.
Detailed Answer:
You are welcome.
Yes the depression and anxiety can occur again even after completion of treatment. It can be precipitated by any kind of stress.
Following Do's and Dont's can be taken care of:
Do's;
1. Listen without judgment.
2. Express empathy, encouragement, and support.
3. Help him find resources.
Dont's;
1. Telling someone not to feel depressed, or that they should “think positively” will not make them feel better.
2. Be afraid to ask if they're suicidal.
3. Minimize what they're going through. That will just lead to their feeling misunderstood, frustrated, and ashamed.
4. Give up on them.
Depressive people need a caretaker almost always. Try to be with the person as far as possible.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
