Question: HELLO,
I have some questions about taking Klonapin nightly. It was originally diagnosed approximately 2 or more yrs ago to help with my legs and arms shaking and jerking while trying to sleep, by my internist. Lately the shaking has been occuring but not as much as before.

DearDr. Panwar:
Thank you so very much for your response to my question concerning taking opiates and benzodiazepines at the same time. I did realize that the second night of shaking this week may have been caused because I was 4 hrs. overdue to replace the fentanyl patches. However, in the past I have gone as many as 12 hours overdue and did not shake/flail.
Sincerely,
xxxx XXXXXXX xxxx

Brief Answer:
4 hours overdue may not be the cause.

Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for being in follow-up.
It is less likely that primary cause of shakiness could be 4 hours overdue.Besides, other causes should be sought for, like anxiety being a common reason for the same.
Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
