Any opiate often causes stomach sickness: opiates affect gut motility and cause constipation.
Opiates cause gall bladder spasm, opiates directly cause nausea, opiates cause sleepiness even to the point of fatal overdose, opiate withdrawal causes stomach pain and throwing up.
Cannot say in your particular case, and there are many many reasons how opiates affect gastrointestinal action and/or nausea.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
