Good day,
Noted your concern. It is very unlikely for Metformin to cause pancreatitis. Where as several other diabetes medicines may rarely cause pancreatitis ( eg: Victoza, Januvia etc). In your case, if you have had pancreatitis, the safest medicine would be insulin.
