Hi,

Many medications, including those used to treat arthritis, can have an impact on liver function. It is important to monitor liver function tests when taking medications that are metabolized by the liver, particularly if you have a pre-existing liver condition or take multiple medications.

Flexbone is a brand name for a supplement that contains glucosamine and chondroitin, which are commonly used to relieve joint pain associated with arthritis. While these supplements are generally considered safe, they can interact with other medications and may cause liver damage in rare cases.

Micardis (telmisartan), Diamicron (gliclazide), Metformin, and Atenolol are all prescription medications used to treat high blood pressure and diabetes. These medications are metabolized by the liver, so it is important to monitor liver function tests regularly when taking them. Fish oil and vitamin supplements are generally considered safe, but some people may experience side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, and upset stomach. It is important to follow the recommended dosages and talk to your doctor before starting any new supplements.

In general, it is important to take medications as prescribed and to talk to your doctor about any concerns you have regarding their potential effects on your liver or other organs. Your doctor may recommend periodic liver function tests to monitor the impact of your medications on your liver.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
