Hello XXXXXXX ,

Thanks for writing to us.

Oxetol contains oxcarbazapine and it is anti epileptic drug. It is used as anti an epileptic in seizure disorder- epilepsy, as a mood stabilizer in bipolar disorder and some cases where anger outbursts to be controlled.
It is not used in depression as single agent.

No major side effects. Common side effects are stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, headache, drowsiness, tremors.
It may cause skin rash in rare patients.
No major serious side effects at 300 mg have been noted as per literature as well as my clinical experience.

Yes it can be stopped easliy in future.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Brief Answer:
no issue with BP, good for anger management

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow up.

It is ok if you are taking with nexito and clonazepam. Your doctor mostly have prescribed oxetol to augment the effects of Nexito.

It will not affect your blood pressure. For anger management oxetol is very good drug.

Hope this answers your concern . Feel free to discuss further.,

Brief Answer:
Oh! Yes it is good for bipolar disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for clarification. We write it as BPD. Oxetol is useful as mood stabilizer in bipolar disorder. It is good when irritability is more.

If still any query there, I will be happy to answer. If not, you can close the discussion and if feasible give your feedback and rating so I can improve my service. In future you can contact me directly on this site if you wish with this link:
