What Are The Side Effects Of Perocen, Leynoxy And Methiwave?
Question: Sir,
I am taking following medicine past 12 years
1. Parocen CR 25 mg : 1-0-0
2. S. Methiwave : 1-0-1
3. Leynoxy Cap : 1-0-0
is there any side effect of above medicine. How long can I take these medicines. If I forgot to take any of above, we feel bad/ in trouble. Any substitude of this medicine.

Hi Sir,
I understand your query and concern.
The 3 drugs which you mentioned are mainly used for Anxiety disorders, depression,sleep disorders.
These drugs should not be stopped suddenly,especially with Parocen CR 25mg since it is an SSRI s(seretonin re uptake inhibitors)
Sudden withdrawal of the drug will precipitate your symptoms.
You can taper the dosage of drug once all your symptoms subside.
Note:Dose tapering can be done only under strict supervision of your doctor.
Side effects like nausea,dizziness,drowsiness,blurred vision,weakness,dry mouth,loss of appetite may occur.
But you should continue these drugs since missing of the drug is making you feel troubled.
Get complete blood picture ,Renal function tests,liver function tests for every 6 months to avoid drug toxicity.
I advise you to follow these instructions to prevent drug dependency:
1.Avoid smoking and alcohol.
2.Exercise and yoga regularly.
3.Listen to music.
4.Avoid stress and anxiety.
5.Daily sleep for 8-10 hours.
6.Drink 3-4 litres water daily and eat fruits and leafy vegetables.
You can take Flouxetine instead of Parocen CR as a substitute.
I advise you to continue these drugs for 6 more months and then start tapering the drug dosage by consulting your doctor.
