What Are The Side Effects Of Prozac?
Question: Should I take accurate if I take Prozac. I have suffered from depression for over 15 years. It says that one of the side effects are depression and thoughts of suicide? My dermatologist prescribed it to me today for my acne.

Yes I was taking Apprilon.I mean accutane. Is what was just prescribed to me he tried Apprilon already. I mean accutane.

There is no doubt about the side effects of accutane as increased suicidal ideation and depression is one of the common side effect. Having said this we need to understand that Prozac helps in depression so taking the two medications together is not contraindicated.
I mean to say that both can be taken together and if any of the serious side effects you notice report immediately to your doctor. The problem is not with intake of medication but it lies when you are uninformed and ignore the side effect.
