Minoxidil should be avoided in hypertensive and heart disease patients

Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
Systemic side effects are rare with usage of minoxidil 5 percent solution as only 1 percent to 4 percent of the applied amount of medicine is absorbed systemically.
However it should be avoided in patients with hypertension and heart disease.
I hope to have answered your query.
I would be happy to clarify any further doubts.
