Testosterone can increase cell proliferation
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.
This time, I will try to be specific.
1. MGUS is monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance
2. It presents with Increasing levels of IgM, not enough details to call it as Multiple myleoma
3. It is a precursor lesion of multiple myeloma
4. You need to followed up for life, as there is a 25% possibility of MGUS turning into multiple myeloma. It might take on an average 10-20 years for it to convert.
5. Watchful and waiting approach is the only option.
6. Testosterone is known to increase cell proliferation. So, it could complicate things by reducing the timeline from 10 years.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
