What Are The Side Effects Of Long Term Use Of Rabekind And Q-shine?
Question: Hi, my age is 44 years and I am diagnosed for high cholesterol. 3 months back, my physician advised me Q-shine and rebekind 20 tablets once a day. Meanwhile I missed tablets for about 10 continuous days. However, my cholesterol levels increased to Total Cho. 298.4, HDL 42.3, LDL 214.9 and triglyceride 206. Please advise. Are there any side effects of taking these tablets for long time?
Brief Answer:
almost no side effects
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
Q-shine tablet contains co-enzyme q10,omega3 fatty acids with other ingredients and rabekind (rabeprazole,a proton pump inhibitor) do not have any side effects (except one is allergic to it) even on long term usage.
However,if your blood profile is on higher side (high cholesterol,LDL,triglycerides),you may need to start lipid lowering drugs like atorvastatin or rosuvastatin with fenofibrate with help from your treating physician.
Hope this helps and let me know if you have more queries.
