What Are The Side Effects Of Long Term Use Of Ranitidine And Sertraline?
Question: My husband takes a great number of medicines as he has renal failure and on PD at home. We are thinking that he might also be suffering side effects from such a variety of perscriptions. Where do we go to have an analysis of all his drugs?

2 years ago XXXXXXX had a stent installed in his left ventracul as it was 95% blocked. He has always been athletic even a runner and at age 69 was body beautiful... physically fit. With the kidney (lost one to cancer years prior) failure and going on dialysis he gained weight (mostly water). The dialysis solution has much sugar and is known to create clogged arteries. He will be getting another check in the near future.

Brief Answer:
Side effects and drug to drug interaction list.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I went through the list of medications you provided and discovered that the medication that has the greatest potential for drug interactions is your sertaline. It will react with the plavix, bystolic bumetandine and metolazone. The Sertaline can cause sodium metabolism. If your husband does not need sertaline I would recommend that he wen from it. All his other medications are good.
