What Are The Side Effects Of Overdose Of Clonazepam?
Question: Hi Doctor,
Iam taking censpram lite(escitalopram 10mg and Clonazepam 0.25mg) since a month. Doctor has now advised to take 1 - T Censpram 10mg and 1/2 of T Lonazep 0.25mg based on my improvement to reduce the dose of Clonazepam . But today by mistake i took 1/2 of T Censpram 10mg along with 1 complete T Censpram 10mg which means i took approx 15mg of T Censpram + 1/2 of T Lonazep 0.25mg. Iam scared about its consequences. Please advice??

Brief Answer:
No need to worry at all.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us.
I can understand your apprehension. But no need to worry at all. Recommended dose of escitalopram is 20 mg in depresion. Sometime itnis given up to 30 mg.
15 mg escitalopram is not going to cause any troublesome reaction.
You may get slight sedation or discomfort but chances of that is also not more than 5%.If by chance it occurs , it will resolve on its own.
My clinical experience says it does not make any difference and you will be absolutely fine. Just continue with regular dose from tomorrow onwards.
Hope I have answered your query,
