Question: I think my 23 month old swallowed a lisinopril 10/25.

Thanks for the query.

Children can not tolerate the medicines the same way as the adults do, so even a slightly higher dose than required (for medicines that are usually given for children) can cause trouble.

Lisinopril is never prescribed in children and it decreases blood pressure as you might be aware. Lower blood pressure in children is particularly difficult to manage.

So, I urge you to take your child to an emergency room straight away and make sure your child is fine.
