Brief Answer:
multiple side effects.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome here.

Risperidone is an antipsychotic drug.

8mg risperidone can commonly cause:
Restlessness,
Tremors,
Hypersalivation,
Dizziness and sedation,
Gastric upset,
Slurring of speech,
Weight gain and dyslipidemia on long term.

The optimal effective dose is 6mg.

8mg risperidone is a dose on higher side and is no better then 6mg (most of the literature mentions this).

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
