Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and after reviewing your case and medical history I'm of the following opinion:

1. Yes, Ashwagandha [indian ginseng] can be taken both by the couple, [but in female combine with gokshura [tribulus terrestris], and shatavri [asparagus racemosus]

2. As you are already taking medicine(s) and diagnosed with varicocele what is/was the opinion of Urologist [i.e. is low sperm count due to this pathology or is independent] since studies have revealed that varicocele raises testicular temperature thereby affecting sperm production,movement and shape

3. Is low sperm count diagnosed as Azoospermia- Oligospermia or Asthenospermia?

4. Although there are no known side effect of the drug, but since the herb is HOT in potency thus taken for long duration [as single preparation] might result in vomiting,diarrhea,stomach upset,high blood pressure]

5. Ashwagandha alone will not help in curing your problem since these disease [sexual disorder] comes under psychosomatic classification thus apart from body, treatment of mind has to be done simultaneously

6. Maxoza XXXXXXX ferpmill-M can increase sperm count if it is due to nutritional problem. [but exact cause of low sperm count has to be established]
