What Are The Symptoms Of GERD?
Possible GERD;following information is needed...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.
1. You are reporting that you feel gas pain throughout your body. Can you please specify if you:
- feel swelling (edema) on your body: arms? legs? eyebrows?
- any medication used on regular basis?
- any chronic disease: cardio-vascular? kidney? liver?
- any test run so far?
2. The burping feeling you are having is indicative for possible GERD. Upper endoscopy is advised to evaluate changes in the upper GI tract.
Possible treatment include:
- PPIs (e.g. omeprazole, pantoprazole, etc.)
- antacids after meal
- simethicone for gas relief
However, specific treatment will be prescribed after having the results of upper endoscopy.
Hope it was of help!

Further medications are needed
Detailed Answer:
Hi back dear XXXXXXX
From the additional information you are giving, my thoughts go for possible GERD or gastritis. Upper endoscopy will determine it.
Antacids alone cannot help much. You should:
- start PPIs (nexium, or omez)
- follow a healthy diet and lifestyle regimen
- take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
Hope it was of help!
