What Are The Symptoms Of HIV?

Tests available to detect HIV during window period
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
First of all, kindly give up imagining odd things.
Nobody can tell or label anybody as HIV positive just by symptom alone, without a blood test. Moreover muscle pain after sex is not at all a symptom for HIV and not related to HIV. It may be due to tiredness or exhaustion or related to your heavy or unusual work or posture. There is nothing like that anybody with HIV infection would have pain in muscles after every intercourse.
There are tests available to detect HIV during the window period itself. They are antigen based tests and not antibody based test which needs a window period to appear positive. I would like to know what tests you had undergone which came as nonreactive for HIV.
So consult your physician and tell your problems and suspicion. He will clear everything with appropriate medicines and investigations.
Nothing to worry.

well i am waiting for the 3 months window for antibody which will be in about 20 for me to hopefully do a conclusive test.
Thanks for your response. will contact you again if need be.
Stick to safe sex till you get repeated the test.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Antibody tests would be more conclusive after 12 weeks following the high risk activity.
Antigen test might be available in cities and referral laboratories in Nigeria also or they may able to collect the blood and send it to nearby available labs and get the results within a few days by E-Mail. But these Antigen tests are mostly available to test only the HIV 1 infection and would not rule out the HIV 2 infection whereas the antibody test would rule out both HIV 1&2.
So you can have the antibody test once again after another 20 days to get a conclusive result. You can feel free to ask me if you need. Till then avoid unprotected sex with your wife and for ever with others.
