What Are The Symptoms Of Prostatitis?
Less likely to be due to Prostatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear Sir
Your symptoms are less likely to be due to Prostatitis and more likely to be due to underlying constipation.
Prostatitis usually presents with deep seated pain in groin and perineum and also associated with either urinary or ejaculatory symptoms.
The possibility of Prostatitis can't be completely ruled out too. I would suggest you the following in consultation with your Physician
1. Urine routine and microscopic examination
2. Trans abdominal and trans perineum ultrasound scan
In the meantime I would suggest you the following
1. Ensure good intake of water : 2 to 3 litre a day
2. High fibre diet : 2 serving of vegetable salad and 2 serving of fruits especially citrus fruit will ensure adequate intake of fibre in diet.
This will be very helpful in ensuring soft stools and will relieve hardness of stools .
3. Short term use of oral Laxatives like Lactulose
Do keep me updated about progress
Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy life.
Take care
Best Regards
