What Are The Symptoms Of Sinus Infection?
Question: I am on day 6 of Levaquin 50 mg for 10 days as a last resort for very stubborn sinus infection. I am feeling a little better but my left eustachian tube still feels like it is completely clogged w mucus. I cant get any relief and i am concerned my ear will need to be drained by surgery at some point. I have heard of a condition called "glue ear" do u think i could have this?? I am having trouble swallowing it feels like no air is able to get through on the left side its very clausterphobic and stressful. Its been like this for 2 months now but not improving . I am also having headache from pressure that isnt responding to tylenol. Please let me know what i can do. My ENT said i may need cat scan should i do that?? Help
Brief answer...CT scan of sinuses is the need of hour

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I Have read your query and understand your concern.
Considering your symptoms and the way they lasted for more than 2 months getting a CT scan of sinuses would be the most ideal investigation.
It would reveal the exact anatomy of your sinuses, any clogging or obstruction and would help in great deal in deciding about any surgical intervention.
In addition you must also get the culture of nasal swab along with the fungus culture.
This way a proper treatment for future can be planned.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
