Brief Answer:
my reply is below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

In a 30 year old, following causes should be looked for trigeminal neuralgia:

1. A blood vessel loop coursing around and compressing the trigeminal nerve,

2. Multiple sclerosis.

3. Cyst or benign tumor in the region of trigeminal nerve.

The first is the most common and the last two are rare causes.

All these can be excluded by doing MRI and MR angiogram of brain.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
