What Are The Symptoms To Look After A Fall In An Infant?
Question: Baby fell off bed while sleeping. Cried and then went back to sleep soon after while I soothed him. No bumps, bruising, bleeding, vomiting, etc. Can move limbs and neck without him crying - can touch head without him crying. He woke up just fine for his diaper change and fell asleep after eating like normal. He's one month old. The bed was two feet off the ground and he landed on his back. Unsure whether he hit anything on the way down. Should I be worried?
Brief Answer:
Fall
Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read through your question.
The most important part of the story was that he did not lose consciousness at the time of the fall. The next step is the first 24 hours after the fall. As long as you don't witness any vomiting in that time period, he is fine and there is no longer any need for concern.
