What Are The Symptoms To Look Out For Post Head Injury?
Question: Hi! Today when walking in the park- i was holding my cellphone sincs i was talking on speaker phone and someone kicked a soccer ball and it hit my hand (which my phone was in) and my phone from the force of the soccer ball hit my chin and then my phone fell to the floor. My chin is a bit sore but is fine. I just want to make sure this wouldnt cause a concussion or brain injury. I have a slight headache but my mom that is a practioner says ill be fine. What are your thoughts? Thank you!

Hi, thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. You need not to worry. It is not concussion if there was no momentary loss of consciousness. You did not have vomiting, bleed through ear/nose/throat, focal deficit. so there was no severe head injury.
This mild headache is normal. It will subside on its own or you can take
: Tablet Diclofenac after proper prescription.
: Apply icepacks at pain site on chin.
Still in doubt, consult doctor or ask another question.
Hope it will help you. Thanks. Take care.
