What Are The Withdrawal Symptoms Of Hormonal Patch?
Question: My wife age 58 had a hysterechtemy 4 years ago and was doing a hormone patch. She gradually decreased the hormone dosage and finally eliminated the patch a year ago. Since then, she experieces bouts of being hot, then cold and difficulty sleeping too warm, too cold. She also lost 15 lbs and is too thin, even though she eats well. Should she get back on the patch or would some type of hormone cream help.

No other health issues that I'm aware of. She was on the lowest dosage patch. We had to pay for them out of pocket. She decided to try going without. Her doctor was ok with that. Our health care has changed and she no longer has that doctor. Are there any negatives associated with using them again? Also, for some reason the patch with the lowest dose was twice as expensive as the next highest up. Could she cut the higher dose patch in two and achieve a similar dose? Any thoughts on the weight loss?
