What Casues Pain In Neck While Eating?

Question: Hello Doctor,
my mother (age -56 )was facing some small pain in neck inside since last one year . and while she eat somthing she felt some thing inside. when she speak for more than 10 min she felt pain and mouth getiing dry. we had visited to ENT surgen locally. he has advice sonogrphy of neck and thyroid test. in sonogrphy he found problem in thyroid gland and suggested to operate it. we get scared is it right solution he had provide us? any other alternative option to treat this ?all the report are attached with this question.pls guide us.

First go for FNAC of left thyroid swelling

Hi,
I have gone through your query, attached report and medical history; it suggests that your mother suffering from the left thyroid adenoma and symptom mainly due to the pressure effect of that swelling.

I personally suggests your mother that first she go for the FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) of the left thyroid swelling after that thyroid surgery according to the report of FNAC.

No alternative option.

Better to go for surgery

I have gone through your follow up query; and suggest your mother better to go for surgery. Most of time this operation is safe and no side effect under experienced team.
If she does not go for surgery then pressure symptom may causes side effect such as difficulty in swallowing and breathing.
