What Caues Itching In Ear?

Question: I have an itch deep in my right ear that won't seem to go away. i cleaned it with wax remover and it is clear and shows no redness or damage in any way but it keeps itching almost constantly. Do you have any suggestions of what it might be?

Itching deep in ear might because of eustachian tube (ET) inflammation .

If I were your treating doctor , I would advice
Steam inhalation ,
don't itch ear with ear bud or any other object it will cause diffuse otitis in ear which itself cause itching ,
Use antibiotic+steroid ear drop like Ciplox D ,
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination to decrease itching & eustachian tube inflammation .

You will need to see your doctor to get a prescription.
