What Cause Left Sided Chest Pain?
Question: Hi,
Sometimes I feel little pain on chest side (left side) ,not sure why this is happening ,had all heart check ups they look fine ,I have bit tension /stress ,Is this because of gastric irritation or you see any issue ?
Please suggest.

It could be due to Gastro esophageal reflux disease.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Pain over the chest wall on the.left side is commonly due to Heart ailment.As your reports are normal,cardiac problem is excluded.
Next possibility is Gastro esophageal reflux disease(GERD).Reflux from the stomach will come upwards into esophagus causing Pain over the chest wall.It is also called HEART BURN in medical terms.
Upper GI endoscopy will give a clue.
Please avoid Spicy food, pain killers .
Anxiety,Stress should be reduced.
I prescribe Tablet containing Rabeprazole 20mg along with Levosulpiride to my patients with similar complaints.
Take frequent small feeds.
Nothing to worry.
