What Causes Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis?

Question: Neurological exam fine. MRI and MRA perfect, CT perfect, bloodwork all perfect but still fear ALS!! Only 29 years old, random muscle flutters all over body not localized, feel fatigued, no muscle tightness, overall weakness, lie back feels weak, shaky feeling inside. All relatively new symptoms feels virus like, but worried neurological disorder/disease.

First of all, I would like to reassure you that based on the symptoms and investigations done so far, it is unlikely that you have amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or any other serious neurological disease. I agree with you that most likely it is like a viral infection and you would improve in a few weeks. Regarding random muscle twitchings, they are likely to be due to benign fasciculations syndrome (BFS). If you are very concerned, you can get needle electromyography (EMG) study done to eliminate the doubt regarding ALS. I hope my answer helps.
