Brief Answer:
SOL in right kidney mayy be due to mass, abscess etc

Detailed Answer:
Hello

USG findings suggests 4.6 x 4.2 cm SOL(space occupying lesion) in lower pole of right kidney. It may be due to many reasons like mass, abscess etc.Mass can be benign or malignant in nature.
Your mother need clinical correlation and further investigations.
Contrast CT scan of abdomen should be done for further evaluation.
CT scan is very helpful in characterization of lesions.
She may need routine investigations like routine hemogram,,random blood sugar, renal function test, urine RE/ME.
Treatment depend upon findings.

There are also multiple calcluli in left kidney.Size of calculus and hydronephrosis is not commented in report.Treatment can be planned after proper evaluation.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your query.

sir i am not able to upload more file so writing down the CT scan report:
ct scan of abdomen and pelvis with renal angio
am mentioning what is not normal
1)minimal narrowing of left renal artery origin is noted (rest of left renal artery appears normal )
impression: large, heterogeneously enhancing lesion is seen in infero-medical aspect of lower pole of right kidney. lesion revels 50-60 HU density on plain study and 130-150 density on post contrast study. lesion measuring 5.2*3.9*3.8 cm (ap rl cc). heterogeneously enhancement of lesion seen on post contrast study. small non enhancing necrotic areas are seen in lesion. no calcification or fat density area is seen in lesion. lesion is indenting on lower lobe calyx and right renal pelvis. exophytic component of right renal mass is causing is causing mild medical displacement of right sided pelvi-ureteric junction
small calculus is seen in middle calyx of left kidney (06.*0.4 cm).
normal aspects: abdominal aorta, celiac artery, origins of both renal artery, liver, kidneys glands, gal bladder, pancreas, right renal artery
second page:
no evidence of renal vein thrombosis is noted
few tiny metastatic nodules are seen in bilateral basel lung parenchyma
largest nodule in left lower lobe is measuring 0.9*0.7cm and right lower lobe is 0.6*0.7cm.
impression: imaging features are s/o large, neoplastic lesion arising from lower pole of righ kidney. no evidence of renal vascular invasion or infiltration is noted. few small metastatic nodules are seen in bilateral basal lung parenchyma. Clinical/HP correlation and follow up is recommended
doctor has advised removal of kidney. is it the only option.

Brief Answer:
It is better to remove right kidney.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Moderately enhancing lesion in right kidney is most likely tumour and it is better to remove right kidney.Kidney can be then examined for histopathology. It can assess exact nature of mass.
It is good that there is no invasion to renal vessels.

There are few small nodules in basal region of both lungs. It can be metastatic nodules. However, metastasis can't be confidently commented based on this finding. It need follow up of nodules and clinical correlation.
