What Causes A Boil Inside The Navel?

Question: I had a boil at the bottom of my belly, after the boil has bursted the hole or tear is not healing. It is painless and not infected. I am not Diabetic and other wounds heal normally. Do I need to see a surgeon to close the tear.

* Usually the condition following boil bursting / Pyoderma under treatment heal
with proper medications , care of local part within certain time periods ,
closure of the tear is not recommended medically .
* Would like to know certain details from your side for further understanding of
your case in depth & next interogations :
1. time since appearance of boil
2. time since bursting
3. currently medications are going on or finished
4. any pus culture report taken by doctor
5. fever presently
6. your overall feeling of body after bursting of boil - comfortable
7. any discharge if present - amount , consistency ,smell
8. any other information you want to share regarding this
9. clinical photograph ( if not objectionable ) will be of great help .

1.one month 10 day 2.25 days 3.medication finished 4.no pus culture 5. no fever 6. comfortable 7. small amount of discharge without smell , no blood

Unhealthy granulation tissue needs thorough surgical dressing not closure.

Respected xxxxx, hi thanks for details & the photograph
* Absolutely no requirement for closure of any type.
* There is presence of unhealthy tissue due to which there is hole inside .
* Ideally you require 2-3 thorough cleaning with surgical scoop by expert
Surgeon or even experienced qualified general practitioner , to take out the
existing unhealthy tissue & promote the faster healing.
* If you can manage that is fine otherwise rub that part with dettol antiseptic
liquid 3 times a day and apply Mupurocin ointment for fast recovery.
- need to take antibiotic as Tab.Levofloxacin (500)mg once a day after meals
for 10 days .
- avoid tight / silk clothings .
* This is definitely going to cure you in sometime.
