Its a size of a quarter and a light brownish spot. It does not itch and every once in a while a slight pain comes and goes. I have never had one before. I don't have the capability to send a picture.
Brief Answer:
Could be phlebitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Most of the skin lesions caused by fungal or bacterial infection usually itch or produce mild tingling sensation.
Lesions causing pain usually are associated with inflammation. One such common cause is phlebitis, inflammation of a blood vessel. This can be associated with blood leak into the skin and lead to a brown spot.
I suggest you to apply warmth whenever it pains and also apply heparin ointment like THROMBOFLAM. This can relieve you from pain and regress the lesion too.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
