Question: Does that bump on the left side of the picture look like a mucoceale or something more serious that needs to be checked out by someone in person? Been there a week now.

As per your complain it seems that the whitish bubble like lump that you have since a week is appearing like a MUCOCELE..
I can also appreciate a small cut above the lump..
It indicates that there might be trauma in that area caused by any hard food..
Since it is present since a week, does not seems like anything serious..

I cant recall any trauma but thats not to say it cpuld have happened and i didnt notice it. Nothing to worry about?

Nothing seems serious and you need not to worry about it.
As of now nothing is needed to be done..
Just do concentrated salt water rinses 2 to 3 times a day for a week..
If there is improvement and the lump regresses continue doing the same for one week more..
In case if there is no improvement consult a Dentist and get evaluated..
