What Causes A Burning White Patch On The Foreskin Of Penis?

Question: Hello Experts,
I have a white patch on the foreskin of my penis. This is clearly visible when my penis is erect and not during flacid state. Is this burning issue which needs to be treated? Can this be cured with just medicines? Is circumscisson an right thing to do and how painful it would be?? Is this white patch tranferable kinda disease? Will it spread over a period firstly starting with penis and then moving to the body? Expert opinion and suggestions recommended.

Brief Answer:
post inflammatory hypopigmentation, pre vitiligo.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
Sorry for delayed reply due to hectic schedule. And thanks for providing the picture.
Based on the picture, I think there few two possibilities, it might be post inflammatory hypopigmentation, pre vitiligo.
There are certain special cells present in skin known as melanocytes, which are responsible for imparting color to skin.
To differentiate this we need to examine the area closely by naked eye and by an instrument called Wood's lamp. So you need to visit a dermatologist near you for help.
I would suggest you that, you should not be worried about this condition as is totally simple and usual condition which we se in day to day life and are very well treatable conditions.
This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.
I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you.
Take care.
