What Causes A Change In Vision When Diagnosed With TMJ?
I have recently been diagnosed with tmj. Just wondering are vision changes /disturbances a symptom and clicking in your head ?
Vision changes are not due to TMJ.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Vision changes or disturbances are not associated with TMJ. The clicking in the head can be related to painful joint movements. This can be related to associated stress and anxiety also.
it is better to consult an ophthalmologist for the vision disturbances that you have for proper diagnosis.
The clicking in the head may improve as the symptoms of TMJ improve.
I hope this answers your query.

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Blurred vision pain behind the eyes neck pain and pressure headache can be related to TMJ. it is good that other vision problems have been ruled out. These symptoms will subside after the inflammation and pain in TMJ decreases.
