Question: My boyfriend has a black mole that is dry and starting to peel. Is this normal?

Is he having fever? Any lymph node enlargement? was it black initially?
Based upon the history I doesn't look like mole. It appear to be boil which has crusted.you may need to use antibiotics and painkillers.
If I am your attending Physician I will prescribe you antibiotics from penicillin group along with painkillers for five days.
