What Causes A Feeling Of Heaviness, Pain In Eyelids And Soreness In Eyes?

Would raising my eyelids help with all this.
Thank you, XXXXX ><> I should also mention that this started in 2012. I have chronic back pain and one morning of that year I suddenly received a violent shock in my lower spin in the nerves that sent a shock wave all the way to the top of my head that totally incapacitated me and that is when my eyes became a problem. That part of my back pain lasted for 3 years and then went away leaving me with my normal back pain. I don't know if this helps
Ptosis
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your vision due to the eyelids drooping. This is called Ptosis. It usually is caused from extra skin sagging over the eyelid and causing obscured vision. this can be surgically corrected by cutting the extra skin.
Another cause of ptosis is a stroke or other nerve disorder causing paralysis of the facial nerves. Your episode of back pain would not be something that would effect the nerves of the face.
In summary
1. Most likely you have ptosis due to sagging eyelids
2. Surgical correction is possible. An ophthalmologist would perform the operation or a plastic surgeon
