Large lump in the neck -shoulder. Consider FNAC biopsy, if worried ....!!
Detailed Answer:
Brief Ans-Large lump in the neck -shoulder angle.Consider FNAC biopsy, if worried ....!!
Hi,Dear !! Thanks for your query updates to HCM.
Read and reviewed your query facts in context to your health updates in concerns of the large neck lump, with multiple glands involved.
Current Impression and Solution suggested-
In absence of picture, it Seems to be resolving Lymph adenitis in base and back of -posterior neck triangle.
If lump persists still for next 1 week, you can try Tab- NSAID-like Motrin and antibiotics x 5 days.
If in case, the gland persists on palpation after medicine trial for next 4 weeeks/ 1 month,in that case I would suggest you -FNAC Biopsy after 1 month after medicine trial suggested, just to rule out ?TB nodes or NHL(non-hodgekin Lymphoma- Disease)
More information please as follows-
The need for FNAC, may not be required, and hence needs to be done, only after month of medicine trial,as suggested.
