What Causes A Lump At The Side Of Tongue?
Question: I noticed small lump over side of my tongue. Very much afraid of cancer.mine I geographic tongue. I don't have bleeding or any other symptoms. Please chk and suggest.
I do have antral Gasteritis, Mild gerd issues. Is it enlarged papillaec or lump ??.. when i stretch my tongue it doesn't appear or visible. but in another position can see clear.. please advise !!

Noticed it 3months ago.
No pain or no bleeding.
Not hard.but smooth kind of. Seems cystic
No trauma. But I have sharp tooth with filling that side lower tooth.
Non smoker.
Its just tongue color. Not red.

There is absolutely nothing to panic.Sharp teeth has caused this cystic/soft lump on the side of your tongue due to constant/repeated friction in the same area.
I would suggest to consult your dentist so that he would unsharpen your teeth following which it will heal by a natural course.
