What Causes A Lump On The Cheek After A Fall?
Question: My wife has fallen while walking on concrete and there is a huge knot on her cheek next to left eye.

Hi
Due to injury,small blood vessel might have ruptured leading to haematoma and swelling.Tissue beneath the skin might also injured adding to the size of the swelling.
I prescribe anti inflammatory tablet twice daily along with tablet containing Trypsin-chymotrypsin to my patients with similar complaints. I prefer to take Xray of the affected area to exclude bony injury.
