What Causes A Movable Lump On The Areola?
Question: Hi could you please explain what a movable lump is? I have a tiny bump/lump right underneath my left nipple on the aereola. It moves with my nipple when I move or pull on my nipple. Does that mean movable or immovable? Thank you!

Hi so I've looked more closely at this bump on my aereola, and I'm wondering if it could be 2 enlarged (montgomery glands??!) so close together that they appear at first glance to be one bump about 1mm x 3mm. (I can't really tell if it's hard or soft but when I put a warm wash cloth on it last night for about 5 minutes it seemed to soften a bit, or maybe it was my imagination.) In any case, they are not at all painful - can clogged mongomery glands be painless? Would you recommend continuing to apply warm compress to see what happens? (I am not pregnant or nursing.)
Thank you.
Thank you.
