What Causes A Painful Lump On The Left Side Of The Head?

Question: I have a lump on the left side of my head. It hurts to touch. My Doctor said it could be a swollen lymph node. I've also had a migraine for 4 days. Today is my 4th day. I've been on Sumatriptan, but the next day I rebound. Now I'm on Vicodin, which helps some, but not much ( for 4-6 hours). What can I do to get better?
When will I get an answer for my question?

Brief Answer:
It could be an Infected Sebaceous cyst.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome to HCM,
The swelling could be an infected Sebaceous cyst. It has to be removed surgically. Histopathological examination will confirm the exact nature of the disease.
For migraine, Paracetamol 650 mg can be taken after food at 6hrly intervals. Symptoms will come down.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
